Chinese Chippendale Style Giltwood Mirror circa 1820.

Beautiful Chippendale style mirror well carved.
Rare to find a mirror that is landscape not upright !


The mirror glass is broken into three sections by two columns with scrolling leaves.
The surround is highly carved with pierced scrolling acanthus branches which are mounted by diamond pierced caps.
The centre of the top with a pagoda topped with a leaf finial.

All finished in good old gold leaf.

Small leaves missing - replaced after this photo was taken.

Perfect condition.
